Safety Briefing
Saftey Briefing before you book.
Play Area & Boundaries
You've cleared a safe play space ensuring a minimum 2m x 2m clearance per player. Please make sure you stay inside this area at all times.
If you move too far the headset should prompt you to move back or adjust your boundary, on a supervised session i'll let you know and guide you back.
If the headset displays a boundary grid, that means you're at the edge of the safe zone.
Physical Safety
Keep your feet firmly on the ground - no jumping, spinning excessively, or running.
Always hold on to the controllers securely using the wrist straps.
If there are children nearby, make sure they don't enter the play space while you're using the headset.
Motion Sickness & Comfort
If you feel dizzy, unwell, or uncomfortable at any point, please stop and take a break, remove the headset and readjust to your surroundings. If on a supervised session please tell me and we'll stop immediately. You can take breaks at any time - Just let me know.
Hygiene
The headset has been sanitised and fitted with a clean face covering.
If you'd like a replacement face cover at any time, just ask.
Using the VR Headset
i'll put the headset on for you and adjust the strap for comfort.
If anything feels too tight or loose, tell me and i'll fix it.
Try to keep your hands in front of you - this helps the headset track the controllers properly.
Emergencies
If anything feels wrong - Physically or with the equipment - just 'STOP' and i'll pause everything immediately.
Responsibility
On selected sessions I will be supervising, so just relax, follow my guidance, and enjoy the experience!
For those on unsupervised sessions we ask you to follow the guidance in this briefing and any additional safety messages you may be given on the screen in game. Game safety guidance may be different depending on the title you are playing.
